Idiosyncrasies was the best title me and Julianne could agree upon when trying to name our exhibition because the main reason we wanted to show together was from a mutual love of the other's work and process. As studio partners for two years, Julianne and I influenced each other's thoughts greatly; her sense of color, movement and flow (in art and in her personal life) were ever inspiring. Although not immediately apparent, we felt that our discourse affected the other's aesthetic so we selected work from our most recent collections that we mutually appreciated - almost like a dually curated show. Here are some photos of the final install, as well as some process shots. You can find Julianne here www.juliannedurkin.com
It's thanksgiving morning and i'm sitting here alone in my apartment writing this while on skype with my family at home. Its 1:00pm and they're all drunk. My great aunt just said "Well! I just keep sippin' on this wine, i'm not shakin' but I feel pretty good!" Regardless, I'm migrating my website to a new platform that better suits the excessive menus I need to categorize my work. Following this post will be a mass post of previous updates from old platforms. This is a semi-pointless post unless you care about the logistics of website hosting, but thanks for stopping by!
